Our Handheld X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer is a fast and accurate non-destructive test that usually requires minimal sample preparation. XRF is capable of bulk chemical analysis of major elements ( Al, Si, Fe, Mn Mg, Ca, K, P, Ti) and chemical analyses of trace elements (>1 ppm; Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Ni, Zn, Ga, Ce, La, Nb Rb Sc, Sr, Rh, U, V, Y, Zr).

Solid: must have a flat surface of at least 2x2cm area
Liquid: at least 10mL
Powder: at least 10mL or 10g

Test Limitations

Elements lighter than Magnesium cannot be measured such as Alloying elements like lithium,
beryllium and carbon.
