The Nanotexturing project was the first conceptualized proposal in collaboration with Arthrologic, Inc., that was recently approved for funding under the Advanced Biomedical Devices program in ADMATEL. This aims to apply a texturing process to a biomedical device at the nano-level scale to increase its quality and integrity as compared with the usual designs available in the market. This R&D area is also aligned to the efforts of DOST-ITDI during the time of the pandemic, where ITDI-MSD provided several 3D-printing-designed technologies with applications for hospital use.
